Microsoft teams status –
I’m looking to set the status message of users within teams programmatically. I found the beta API in graph for setting presence available, away etc , but can’t seem to find the api equivalent of the “Set status message” option. Is this available yet? This thread is locked. That’s the api I was already able to find, but I don’t see a way there to update the status message. Just in case that message overlapped with the outOfOffice message, I tested the get method after changing my status. Ma I missing something obvious? Hi Igor, That’s the api I was already able to find, but I don’t see a way there to update the status message. I see that, Jack. I just did a double check and looks like there is a confusion regarding the presence status and the status message.
Based on my research the presence status can be obtained by API however the custom messages status not. I recommend you to vote for this and also input your feedbacks and comments, as more votes the request receives, more chances to get this implemented in further updates. Best Regards. In a meeting. When a user selects a specific presence state, it takes precedence over any app activity update. Appear Away will make it look like you are away from your computer, allowing you to work and respond to messages later.
