I never used it before, but it works. It is a view point, affinity designer set zoom free incudes a zoom level and a location on zooom canvas to move to. That works in Photo, or in Designer when artboards are not used. In Designer with artboards or Publisher, the custom view point also moves you to the artboard or page where affiniy set it.
