I think that the update can be deferred individially in powershell if I had extensive knowledge on how to manually turn off or disable tasks via powershell, although I just use the mmc, but the windows update tasks could be disabled within the windows update tasks itself, but I think the Windows Update Ochestrator service or the Windows Update Medic service causes it to re-enable itself.

I know how to disable it via the scheduler, but not particularly via power-shell..
