Since graduating from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2014, Gizelle has continuously enhanced her skills through additional courses to better support her patients including prenatal and postpartum massage, gender affirming care, oncology massage, breast and chest massage, knee and hip replacement surgeries, mental health, and pain science. By integrating these modalities, she ensures her patients receive personalised and comprehensive care.
In addition to her clinical practice, Gizelle is a clinic instructor at Langara College. She finds fulfilment in guiding future RMTs, recognizing teaching as both a humbling and rewarding endeavour.
Gizelle prioritises creating a supportive and connected environment for her patients throughout their healing journey. Drawing from her diverse skill set, she empowers her clients to achieve their wellness goals and regain balance in their lives.
Originally hailing from the prairies, Gizelle has called Vancouver home since 2010. Her personal journey through ACL reconstructive surgery sparked Gizelle’s passion for massage therapy, prompting her transition from linguistics and American Sign Language to fulfil her desire to assist others on their healing paths.
Beyond her work, Gizelle finds joy in exploring nature with friends, whether hiking or cycling. An avid reader, she enjoys moments at home, curled up with a book and her cats.
